Quelle Est Cette Odeur Agréable is a very beautiful traditional French carol, probably dating back the 17th century. Although translating the meaning of text from one language to another can be difficult, the title has been translated to English to mean “Where is that goodly fragrance flowing,” or “What is this perfume so appealing.” Unfortunately, the carol is not performed very often in the United States, but it is a favorite in European countries, and there are several excellent recordings of British choirs singing Quelle Est Cette Odeur Agréable.
